Dear ATAS Members,
Greetings from Bhopal, India!
I am pleased to inform you that the Top Scout Achievers from Madhya Pradesh State of India have decided to launch the Madhya Pradesh Chapter of ATAS and a gathering is scheduled on 26 June at the State Headquarters of Madhya Pradesh Bharat Scouts and Guides. Minister of Health who himself is ATAS989# will be inaugurating the gathering. Most likely he will be nominated to be the Honorary President of ATAS MP-India. The Education Minister is also invited on this occasion.
This program has the blessings of the Bharat Scouts and Guides National Commissioner Mr. L. M. Jain. I am informed by the host that he is invited to Preside the gathering but unfortunately due to earlier commitment he will not be able to join.
About over 200 TAS are expected to participate in this gathering. Eric has couriered ATAS badges to the host. I have asked them to copy the ATAS banner design from the website and can put a line in the bottom as "Madhya-Pradesh Chapter, India".
If you have any further advise, please let us know. Also if you could send us the design soft copy for ATAS banners and in particularly the round ATAS badge design that you have prepared and use to distribute to the members where we can put our name and number (with pin at the back). We will produce it locally here.
Further, may we request you to kindly send ATAS "President's Message" for the occasion with a soft copy of your photo that you may wish to be used with this message.
I am also copying this mail to other ATAS Management Committee Members with request to send few words of appreciation that will encourage these new ATAS members.
